I started out with the Django web framework in early 2008 on the 0.96.1 release. I began freelancing on nights and weekends later that year, and in late 2009 I got the opportunity to shift into full-time Django development for Pegasus News in Dallas, TX. In January of 2011, I joined the team at Lincoln Loop. During my time with Django I've released a few open-source apps, such as django-baseviews and django-balancer. Performance has been a primary concern in several of the projects I've worked on over the past couple of years.
